Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located in the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells/East Sussex who are looking to recruit driven and professional Teaching Assistants. If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.
Ideally you will have experience of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with students and supporting a range of additional needs. In particular we are looking for applicants that are experienced in working with ASD, Autism, Downs Syndrome, PMLD, SEMH or sensory needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- To provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment
- To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles
- Track and monitor student progression
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
The right candidate MUST have:
- Experience of working with children or young adults
- Knowledge of working with a range of additional needs such as ASD, PMLD and Downs Syndrome
- A full RTW in the UK
