Rikama Education Ltd. are excited to be working with an SEMH behavioural school in the Medway area who are looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. The school supports students from KS3 - KS5 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. To be considered for these roles it is essential that you have the following experience:

  • Experience supporting SEN children within sports lessons.
  • Experience of supporting children/young adults with social and emotional support needs.
  • An understanding and ability to build trust and empathize with students that have had challenging backgrounds.
  • Experience supporting students within SEN schools or candidates with a mental health support/young offender's background would be strong candidates.
  • Being of a resilient and firm nature when necessary.
