We are currently recruiting for dedicated and experienced professionals for SEN Tutor jobs in Gravesend, delivering personalised 1:1 home & virtual tuition to learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is ideal for qualified teachers and experienced SEN specialists seeking flexible, meaningful work.

As a SEN Tutor, you will deliver between 10-20 hours of tuition per week per student as part of a young person’s EHCP or care package, often working within the family home or virtually and closely alongside parents and multi‑agency professionals.

The SEN Tutor Role
  • Deliver structured 1:1 SEN tuition in Gravesend (typically home‑based provision).
  • Support CYP with EHCPs and complex additional needs.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning goals.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and parents.
  • Provide progress reports in line with Kent County Council requirements.
