Rikama Education Ltd. are currently working with an SEN School in Gillingham who are looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support Primary learners with ASD. These positions are to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right candidate after the initial period.

The school offers excellent new facilities on an extremely large site and educates and cares for students (mixed boys and girls) aged from 4 to 11 with Complex Needs who are on the Autistic spectrum. All roles could require you to complete personal care.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting students ages 4 – 11 years old with a range of individual needs including Learning Difficulties, ASD, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour.
  • Support on either a 1 to 1 or small group basis.
  • Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
