Rikama Education Ltd. are currently working with a number of Multi Academy Trusts on the south coast. They specialise in teaching SEND pupils and are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants for September 2026. These positions will be to start in September, and as both trusts have schools which cater for both Primary and Secondary learners, with a range of needs from PMLD and learning needs through to SEMH and behaviour, there is something to suit people at a range of experience levels!

The trusts will be looking to offer permanent appointments for the right people after an initial period (typically one term). So, whether you are currently working in a school, with children in a different environment, or have experience in working with children or adults in care, please get in touch today!

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting students across Primary and Secondary ages with a range of individual needs including SEMH, behavioural or learning needs, PMLD, mental health, ASD and complex needs.
  • Support on either a 1 to 1 or small group basis.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
