Rikama Education are working with a school in East Sussex who are currently looking for a caretaker to join their team.
This hands on role requires someone with practical expertise, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude to provide support in the maintenance of the school and grounds.
If successful, you will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school site, liaising with contractors and suppliers and be involved in the repair/upkeep of the building and site.
You should have experience of
- Managing and carrying out security operations.
- Operating heating and other systems.
- Liaising with contractors and purchasing of supplies.
- Ensuring that the site is clean and safe at all times.
- Making repairs to furniture, and equipment.
- Ensuring that Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- Being a nominated key holder.
