Canterbury Primary is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The role will involve working 3 days a week initially, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a pupil in Year 4 who has ASD and ADHD
- Differentiating the work set by the class teacher
- Managing any challenging behaviours following the school's policy
It is essential that you have:
- Previous experience working with children with additional needs, whether that is in a classroom or similar setting
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team. Should you be accepted for this post, you will be rewarded with:
