Rikama Education Ltd are supporting an SEMH provision in Bromley who are looking for a Hair and Beauty Teacher/Tutor/HLTA to join their team for 2 days a week as soon as possible. This role will become a permanent position for the right person. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hair & Beauty professional with a passion for education, learner development, and helping students progress into successful careers within the Hair & Beauty industry.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and schemes of work
  • Differentiated learning to support all learner abilities
  • Deliver both group teaching and 1:1 learner support
  • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare learners for assessments and successful outcomes
  • Promote safeguarding, Prevent and learner wellbeing
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support learners with literacy, numeracy and ICT development
  • Maintain high achievement and pass rates

Requirements:

  • PTLLS / CTLLS qualification - desirable
  • DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE desirable
  • Hair and/or Beauty Qualification
  • GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or above
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Experience delivering vocational training or tutoring
  • Passionate about learner progression and education
