Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a SEN school located in the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells/East Sussex who are looking to recruit driven and professional Teaching Assistants. Ideally you will have experience of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with students and supporting a range of additional needs. In particular we are looking for applicants that are experienced in working with ASD, Autism, Downs Syndrome, PMLD, SEMH or sensory needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- To provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment
- To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles
- Track and monitor student progression
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
The right candidate MUST have:
- Experience of working with children or young adults
- Knowledge of working with a range of additional needs such as ASD, PMLD and Downs Syndrome
- A full RTW in the UK
