Rikama Education Ltd. are excited to be working with an SEMH school in the Bromley area who are looking to recruit a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a full time, long term basis. The school supports students from KS4 - KS5 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is located close to buses and train stations so applications from those who access public transport or are drivers are welcome to apply.
You will be joining a close-knit team who support their staff as much as their students, making for a great working and learning environment.
Qualifications- Experience of supporting children/young adults with social and emotional support needs.
- An understanding and ability to build trust and empathise with students that have had challenging backgrounds.
- Experience supporting students within SEND schools or candidates with a mental health support/young offender's background.
- Strong candidates.
- Have a positive and resilient approach.
