They are now looking for a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant to join their friendly, close-knit team of three, in a role you can truly make your own.

Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the credit control function, proactively chasing outstanding debt, maintaining strong customer relationships, and reducing aged debt to support healthy cash flow.
- Set up new customer accounts, carrying out credit checks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
- Manage the sales ledger, including raising invoices where required, allocating payments, resolving queries, and performing regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post daily cash and credit card receipts, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of funds to customer accounts.
- Support purchase ledger activities, including processing supplier invoices, statement reconciliations, and assisting with payment runs.
- Assist with weekly payroll processing, ensuring timesheets and payment details are accurate and submitted on time.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and support month-end processes, including ledger reviews and reporting assistance.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have previous credit control and all-round accounts experience, within a fast-paced finance department.
