Your role at Rijk Zwaan involves working mainly in our greenhouses, helping with plant raising, planting, pest and disease control, crop care and seed harvesting. You will learn specialised vegetable seed production tasks along the way, with on-the-job training and support from our team. Over time, you will have the opportunity to develop additional skills in nursery propagation and seed cleaning, building a broad understanding of the vegetable seed production process from start to finish.

For more than 100 years, we’ve been at the start of the food chain, developing vegetable varieties and selling the seeds to professional growers. Within our international network, around 4,200 staff are committed to transforming the way vegetables are grown and consumed. The Australian subsidiary was founded in 1987 and employs 80 people, working across seed production, research and development, and sales, with most of our team working in Daylesford.
