Availability Requirement – Please Read Carefully

This role requires flexibility and the ability to work up to 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, within our operational hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Regular weekend availability is essential. Applications without this flexibility may not be considered.

About the Role

You will average 16 hours per week, with hours varying week to week depending on business needs. As part of our team, you'll be involved in all aspects of store operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service and assisting with purchases
  • Receiving deliveries, checking stock, booking items onto the system, and merchandising on the shop floor
  • Using the EPOS system for payments and stock checks
  • Pricing and maintaining attractive product displays
  • Offloading deliveries (manual handling required)
  • Running shifts as required (after training)

Skills & Experience

  • A positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
  • Retail experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage, as part-time colleagues will run shifts
  • Good numeracy, literacy and PC skills
  • Organised, reliable and able to work well as part of a team

All successful candidates will be required to complete Shift Runner training within a reasonable timescale.

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.30 per hour for employees aged 21+
  • £12.60 per hour once Shift Runner training is completed
