We are an emerging provider specialising in complex care, crisis support and clinically led community packages, currently progressing the acquisition of a CQC-registered provider to deliver services under the Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI) regulated activity. Our model focuses on supporting individuals with complex needs who require enhanced support within community settings, including those transitioning from hospital or experiencing placement breakdown.
The successful candidate will be supported by a highly experienced clinical leadership team with a combined 70 years of experience across complex care, mental health, learning disability and community healthcare services. As we prepare to become operational, we are seeking an experienced Registered Manager / Lead Nurse (Band 7 equivalent) to play a key role in establishing and leading our clinical services. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated senior nurse to help shape a service focused on safe, responsive and clinically governed complex care delivery.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the clinical leadership and operational oversight of complex care services, ensuring safe and effective delivery of nurse-led support within community environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the CQC Registered Manager for the service
- Providing clinical oversight of complex care packages
- Leading the mobilisation and management of nurse-led care teams
- Ensuring services operate in line with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards
- Developing and maintaining robust risk management and safeguarding frameworks
- Working collaboratively with commissioners, ICBs, local authorities and hospital discharge teams
- Supporting recruitment, supervision and development of clinical staff
- Ensuring a strong focus on patient safety, quality and outcomes

About You
We are looking for someone who brings strong clinical leadership, sound judgement and a commitment to high‑quality patient care.
- Registered Nurse (NMC registered)
- Experience operating at Band 7 level or equivalent senior nursing role
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or willingness to register with CQC
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex care packages
- Experience supporting complex care packages within community or clinical settings
- Experience within community complex care or hospital discharge services
- Knowledge of CHC or Section 117 pathways
- Experience working with ICBs, NHS Trusts or local authorities
- Experience preparing services for CQC registration or inspection
