We are recruiting for a Property Clearance and Maintenance Worker to join our Property team. Our Property team manages a portfolio of over 470 properties of varying sizes throughout Glasgow. The team includes general administration, maintenance workers, technicians, painters, and joiners. The Property Clearance and Maintenance Worker is part of our uplift and removal team, responsible for clearing and making minor repairs to properties to ensure high-quality accommodation for those we support.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Carrying out clearance of property contents including fixtures, fittings, furnishings, white goods, flooring, and consumables.
- Delivering furniture, white goods, flooring, and consumables as required.
- Performing basic cleaning of properties on a 'clean as you go' basis.
- Using Sanondaf products during initial clearance and final checks before handover.
- Keeping all Right There vehicles clean and tidy, using Sanondaf products as required.
- Maintaining all tools and equipment in good condition, reporting damages or replacements needed.
- Seeking ways to recycle or upcycle equipment taken from properties.
- Ensuring timely waste disposal with appropriate transfer notes.
- Conducting risk assessments prior to work and using the correct PPE depending on the risk level.
- Carrying out work to standards aligned with Right There and contractor standards.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and reporting safety concerns or incidents.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures for best practices and legal compliance.
- Coordinating with external agencies and contractors as required.
What we expect from you:

What you can expect from us:
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
- Main workplace at Rosemount Business Park, Charles Street, Glasgow, G21, with regular travel to properties.
- Annual leave starting at 210 hours (6 weeks), increasing to 280 hours (8 weeks) in the second year, pro-rata.
- Automatic enrollment into the People's Pension after 3 months, subject to eligibility.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Option to buy and sell annual leave.
