Position Overview

The Workplace Solutions Manager (WSM) is more than a sales role; it’s an opportunity to lead transformative commercial office projects from concept through completion. This position blends design thinking, consultative sales, and technology-driven solutions to create inspiring, functional workplaces for our clients. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Innovate: Using our proven, repeatable sales process to create cutting‑edge office interior solutions to life and profit.
  • Be the Expert: Combining product knowledge, design expertise, and sales acumen to guide clients from initial engagement to project completion.

  • Sales & Account Management: Own the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation through close—consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals. Deliver exceptional customer experiences while building long‑term client relationships. Take a consultative approach by understanding client goals and presenting tailored workplace solutions.
  • Business Development & Client Engagement: Generate leads through in‑person and virtual presentations, digital campaigns, networking events, and referrals. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using personal and professional networks. Partner with marketing and engagement leadership to strengthen personal branding and execute outreach strategies.
  • Design & Product Expertise: Collaborate with design teams to provide space planning, product selection, and pricing solutions. Maintain expert‑level knowledge of industry trends, products, and innovative office interior solutions.
  • Collaboration & Project Execution: Work closely with the PMO team to ensure smooth project handoff post‑sale. Represent the company during on‑site installations, addressing challenges and ensuring project success.
  • Professional Development: Participate in sales leadership training, including our WIN Strategy and repeatable sales processes. Utilize CRM and pipeline management tools (e.g., NetSuite) to manage performance and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in interior design or related field.
  • Experience in the contract furniture or interior design industry and/or experience in interior design.
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate (CRE) industry.
  • A passion for developing relationships with Owners, C‑Level executives, Finance, Facilities Management, and human resource executives, within companies of all sizes.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Entrepreneurial growth mindset focused on long‑term success.
  • Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills and ability to ask pertinent questions to determine client needs.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and foster both internal & external relationships.
  • Must be assertive, flexible, and have a strong sense of urgency with a high attention to detail.
  • Committed to supporting team goals and playing a major role in the alignment of sales ops.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude of Microsoft Office systems with ability to learn our internal system.
  • Previous CRM Experience Preferred (I.e., NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Naturally engaging, builds trust quickly and communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solution‑oriented, listens actively and delivers thoughtful, customized solutions.
  • Eager learner, stays current on market trends, products, and best practices.
  • Highly adaptable, adjusted approach to meeting client needs and evolving situations.
  • Proactive and organized, plans, managing priorities, and consistently follows through.
