We\’re looking for an experienced Telephone Account Manager (TAM) who will manage a designated account base to achieve activity, growth and customer satisfaction targets. To achieve these targets through identifying sales opportunities, delivering excellent service and proving value to maximising the retention of existing spend. A small fraction of time will be spent selling our overseas proposition to inbound leads and there may be a requirement to outbound prospect to achieve business goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Own your patch: Manage approx. 150 overseas accounts each month, covering Portugal. Your focus is on both retention and growth — working with estate agents and new home developers.
- Drive results: Deliver against KPIs of meetings held per week, 80% account reviews achieved and a monthly revenue growth target.
- Balance service and sales: Build strong client relationships while also identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities through a consultative approach (split: 80% account management, 20% new business).
- Add value with insight: Interpret performance data and use internal tools to showcase value and ROI, making it clear how Rightmove supports client success.
- Educate and support: Provide training, resolve issues, and be the trusted point of contact for your clients.
- Handle objections with confidence: Overcome challenges, present alternative solutions, and keep conversations moving in the right direction.
- Stay sharp with detail: Keep CRM records accurate, share account insights with internal teams, and play an active role in shaping our proposition.

- Sales achiever: You’ve consistently hit or exceeded sales targets and KPIs.
- Remote-ready: Experienced in working from home and thriving independently.
- Process smart: You understand a consultative sales cycle and can confidently walk clients through it.
- Self-motivated & organised: Excellent at managing your time, priorities, and pipeline.
- Adaptable learner: You embrace change, take coaching on board and keep growing.
- Data confident: Comfortable analysing performance data and turning it into clear, compelling stories.
- Customer-first: Skilled at managing expectations and delivering excellent service.
- Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to influence and educate.
- Bonus points: Speaking another language is a plus, but not essential.
