Product Manager – Mortgages Platform
Rightmove – London Soho Square – Hybrid, 2 days a week in office – Senior level – Full‑time – Product Management and Marketing. Reports to Head of Product.
About the Role
We’re building the Mortgages Platform, supporting web and app experiences, managing key API integrations with lenders and brokers to ensure seamless customer journeys. The Product Manager will define product strategy, drive delivery, collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers and analysts, and own the product roadmap.
Typical Responsibilities
- Own and monitor product performance using objectives and KPIs.
- Create and validate business cases, defining opportunity, costs, benefits.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve customer experience.
- Conduct impact analysis for systems or business processes.
- Lead experience discovery with Product Designers and Researchers.
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers to manage data flow.
- Research customer motivations and industry insights.
- Generate innovative ideas and identify opportunities.
- Work with engineers and architects to understand technical limits and options.
- Own requirements definition and solution delivery.
- Maintain backlog and prioritise with Head of Product.
- Shape strategic direction, vision and objectives with Head of Product.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Lead product discovery, delivering clear recommendations.
- Experience delivering end‑to‑end software products in tech‑led companies.
- Responsibility for a product with an autonomous team.
- Make data‑informed decisions, using quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Passion for quality experience, end‑users.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; ability to multitask.
- Manage stakeholder relationships; clear communication and alignment.
- Set and measure realistic, timely goals.
- Deep understanding of commercial and operational aspects.
- Encourage team contributions.
- Long‑term vision for the product.
- Agile mindset.
- Comfortable describing technical implementation.
- Desire to learn and improve processes.
