Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust, and belief to make it happen. We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go‑to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what’s on the market.

The role involves joining our Experience Design (XD) team, embedded in our Data Services domain – a space that sits at the intersection of Rightmove's unique property market data and the B2B and B2C products built on top of it. This is a hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of complex, insight‑rich design challenges – working across a product suite used by estate agents, mortgage lenders, insurers, surveyors and investors. You'll move fluidly between Research, Prototyping and Delivery, collaborating closely with data scientists, product managers and engineers. With support from the Lead Product Designer and Head of Product, you'll contribute to both active sprint delivery and longer‑term strategic thinking for the domain.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deliver experiences across Rightmove's Data Services B2B product suite.
  • Stay hands‑on across the full design process – from early discovery and problem framing through to interaction design and polished UI delivery.
  • Work with data scientists, product managers and engineers to translate complex data and insights into clear, usable experiences for our customers.
  • Use research and analytics to inform design decisions, independently or in partnership with a user researcher.
  • Apply and contribute to reusable patterns, components and the Rightmove design system.
  • Produce clear user flows, wireframes and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Use AI tools as part of your day‑to‑day design workflow to accelerate exploration, prototyping and iteration.
  • Facilitate or contribute to workshops, collaborative sessions and design critiques.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business, beyond your immediate product team.
  • Collaborate with Content Design to simplify journeys and improve clarity in complex flows.
  • Document design rationale and support smooth handover to Engineering.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusive design considerations are built into solutions.
  • Contribute to a team culture of feedback, openness and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • Proven experience in an end‑to‑end product design role, owning work from discovery through to delivery with support where needed.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a balance of UX thinking, UI craft and clear impact on both user outcomes and business goals.
  • An ability to make sense of complex problem spaces – especially where data, multiple user types or B2B contexts are involved.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies – user interviews, journey mapping, usability testing etc.
  • Good systems thinking and experience applying or contributing to design systems.
  • Commercial awareness – you understand how design decisions connect to business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills; you can bring stakeholders along with you and articulate the reasoning behind design decisions.
  • Comfortable operating with some ambiguity and working around technical constraints.
  • Experience using AI tools to support design workflows (e.g. exploration, prototyping, content iteration) and the judgment to critically assess what they produce.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to inclusive, accessible design.
  • Experience in the property sector or a data‑heavy B2B environment is a plus, not a requirement.

Benefits

  • Cash plan for dental, optical and physio treatments.
  • Private Medical Insurance, Pension and Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Plan.
  • 27 days holiday plus two (paid) volunteering days a year to give back, and holiday buy schemes.
  • Contributory stakeholder pension.
  • Life assurance at 4x your basic salary to a spouse, family member or other nominated person in your life.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Paid leave for maternity, paternity, adoption & fertility.
  • Travel Loans, Bike to Work scheme, Rental Deposit Loan.
  • Charitable contributions through Payroll Giving and donation matching.
  • Access deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, gym memberships, cinema discounts and more.
  • We offer hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
