Location: London (2 days a week in the office - Wednesday and Thursday in Soho Square)

Rightmove is accelerating its AI-enabled transformation across product development, operations, customer experience, and internal processes. This role manages strategic technology suppliers to deliver commercial value, contractual robustness, and safe, compliant adoption of AI and automation tooling. You will work closely with Engineering, Technology, Corporate IT, Data, Product, Legal, Information Security, Finance, and key partners to ensure compliance, drive efficiency, reduce cost, and support scalable, responsible innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with technical teams to understand requirements, integration needs, and future AI capability plans.
  • Support end-to-end sourcing processes (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and commercial negotiations for AI and automation tools, focusing on total cost of ownership, quality, and risk management.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships.
  • Oversee performance metrics, risk assessments (cyber, regulatory), and compliance with security, governance, and data protection requirements.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track tangible operational and commercial benefits.
  • Ensure clarity on KPIs, SLAs, uptime, roadmap dependencies, and value realisation commitments.
  • Act as procurement business partner to product and engineering teams, building strong relationships with key stakeholders in these areas.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Legal, Data Protection, and Information Security to define requirements, support adoption, and articulate value.
  • Deputise for the Procurement Manager as required.

What we’re looking for

  • End-to-end technology procurement experience across categories such as SaaS, cloud, data platforms, developer tools, and AI/ML tooling.
  • Experience in building and executing category strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Experience managing complex supplier relationships, including structured performance and governance frameworks.
  • Skilled in commercial negotiation and contract review (MSAs, SOWs, licensing, SaaS agreements, data processing terms).
  • Understanding of AI, automation, and emerging technology procurement.
  • Ability to interpret technical and data governance requirements.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, product-led, engineering-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with the EU AI Act, UK data protection requirements, and cloud security standards.
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent.
