To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join our team. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a central role in shaping how our in-house Legal and Compliance function operates within a fast-paced tech business. You’ll focus on improving how we work, supporting strategic projects and making sure our processes and tools are used effectively across the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll act as a trusted partner across Legal, Compliance, Technology, Product, Engineering and Procurement – helping turn legal requirements into practical, scalable solutions that keep things moving at pace.
  • Driving efficiency and improvement
    • Support initiatives that simplify workflows, improve systems and reduce manual effort
    • Identify smarter ways of working to speed up delivery and improve turnaround times
    • Use data and feedback to continuously refine how the team operates
  • Supporting strategic projects
    • Partner with Technology, Product and Engineering on cross‑functional initiatives
    • Keep projects on track by surfacing risks, dependencies and challenges early
    • Translate legal and compliance requirements into clear, actionable inputs (and vice versa)
  • Supplier and contract support
    • Work with Legal, Procurement and business teams across Rightmove to support supplier onboarding and contracts
    • Coordinate input from across internal teams to keep deals progressing smoothly
    • Help embed consistent use of frameworks, playbooks and approval processes
  • Building strong relationships
    • Develop trusted partnerships across Legal, Data Protection, Finance, Tech and beyond
    • Act as a pragmatic problem‑solver, balancing risk, efficiency and commercial priorities
  • Governance and process adoption
    • Support compliance with legal systems, controls and approval processes
    • Help roll out new tools, templates and ways of working
    • Maintain clear, accessible documentation to support consistency across the business

Who you are

  • Experience in project management or a similar role within a tech‑led environment
  • Confidence working cross‑functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to simplify complex or technical topics into clear, practical actions
  • A good understanding of how in‑house Legal and Compliance teams operate
  • Experience supporting supplier or third‑party processes

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • Experience in Legal Operations or Legal Project Management
  • Exposure to legal technology or tools (e.g. contract management, AI tools)
  • Familiarity with procurement or vendor management
  • Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives

You’ll also be:
