Commercial Account Manager – Covering West London
Location: Remote & Field Based
Reporting to: Area Director
As the UK’s largest choice of properties for sale and to rent, our aim is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team.
The Role
We are looking for people with experience in both new business development and account management, to target and acquire commercial agents in a designated area, to advertise their properties on Rightmove. You will also account manage and grow both new and existing customers to meet business goals related to advertising and product saturation. Revenue growth will be driven through face-to-face activity. You should have a drive to overachieve KPIs and seek personal and professional development within this sector.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieving sales revenue targets & activity goals
- Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to conversion
- Delivering excellent account management with regular review meetings and upselling products
- Ensuring customers understand Rightmove products & pricing, and delivering value-added solutions
- Interpreting data to help customers understand their market and business
- Coordinating with support functions like Customer Services and Finance
- Collaborating with Telephone Account Management and New Business teams
- Attending monthly meetings
- Managing external relationships and resolving customer queries
- Representing Rightmove values and supporting team development
Qualifications and skills required:
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a record of exceeding targets
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong closing skills and ability to handle tough gatekeepers
- Resilience, tenacity, and experience in multi-product environments
