In this highly visible role, you will partner with the Director of StrategyandCorporate Development, Chief Strategy Officer, and executive leadership to shape and execute Rightmove’s long-term growth agenda.
You will lead the evaluation ofhigh impact growthopportunities andstrategic priorities,identifyingtheoptimalstrategic pathwayacross organic build,strategicpartnerships,minorityinvestments,acquisitionsandportfolio optimisation.

Strategicassessment: Framecomplex businessopportunitiesandchallenges, evaluate strategicoptions and appraise solutions across Build, Buy and Partner pathways

End to end transactionmanagement: Drivesenior stakeholder engagement andorchestrateall steps of thetransactionlifecycleacrossstrategicrationale,market screening, due diligence,financial analysis,valuation and deal executionwithexternal advisorsand internalcross functionalteams

Integrationand Value CreationStrategy: Own the post-acquisition integration framework to ensure synergies and commercialobjectivesare delivered

Market intelligence and ecosystem radar: Develop deepexpertisein the Proptech landscape through market research and building relationships with the external community (founders,industryexperts,VCsandadvisors)
Whatyou’llhave
-
4-6 years of experience inCorporate Development(preferably within digital marketplaces, software,techor media) orStrategyConsulting(withCDD or similar experience)

Proven ability to deliver insightful recommendations and undertake sound strategic analysis using hypothesis-based problem solving

Excellent analytical capabilitywith the abilitytoundertake qualitative andquantitative analysis (including data analysis and financial modelling)

Strong communicator with executive presenceand ability to craft executive levelpresentationsto credibly engage with a variety ofsenior stakeholders

Experienceacrossmultiple parts of the transaction lifecycle from sourcing through to integration

Comfortable in a lean, high-impact team:equally comfortable presenting to senior leaders and executing core analyticaland presentationdeliverables
