About the Role

This role is central to how Rightmove feels as a place to work.

As our Workplace & Community Coordinator, you’ll keep our offices running beautifully – staying on top of operations, holding suppliers to a high standard, and delivering the everyday experience that makes Rightmove a place people genuinely enjoy coming to.

You’ll lead the smooth running of our Milton Keynes office, coordinating across London and Newcastle when needed.

Day‑to‑day, that spans everything from dealing with issues, overseeing suppliers, to ensuring our offices are well‑stocked, safe, welcoming, and consistently well‑run.

You’ll also get stuck into local events, engagement activity, and workplace experience – lending a hand to the wider People Team wherever it’s needed.

This is a visible, hands‑on role. You’ll be a familiar and friendly presence, helping shape the experience of every Rightmover, visitor, and new joiner who comes through our doors.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Office Operations & Facilities
  • Take ownership of day‑to‑day running of the Milton Keynes office and coordinate workplace services across London and Newcastle where needed.
  • Be the first point of contact for employees to ask questions, flag issues and swiftly sort out problems of a varied nature.
  • Act as the go‑to contact for building management, maintenance contractors, suppliers, and general facilities queries, working closely with the Workplace & Community Manager.
  • Order and manage all workplace supplies – kitchen, stationery, bathrooms, furniture and more – keeping the office well‑stocked and welcoming.
  • Manage visitor processes, front‑of‑house, and deliveries.
  • Carry out regular floor walks to ensure standards stay consistently high.
  • Maintain accurate facilities records and compliance documentation.
  • Support process mapping and forward planning for key workplace activities.
  • Flag issues promptly to the Workplace & Community Manager.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Take ownership of fire, health and safety compliance – keeping procedures current, delivering inductions, and ensuring our offices meet required standards.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records for Fire Wardens, First Aiders, and H&S documentation, ensuring current lists are displayed across all locations.
  • Arrange refresher training as needed.
  • Support risk assessment updates.
  • Manage our annual DSE assessment process.
  • Ensure compliance certificates and statutory checks are logged and stored correctly.
  • Events & People Experience
  • Help plan and deliver local workplace events and celebrations – covering logistics, set‑up, and running things on the day.
  • Assist with logistics for internal campaigns, engagement initiatives, and D&I moments throughout the year.
  • Be a helpful, approachable first point of contact for workplace queries.
  • Culture & Communications
  • Set the tone for how our offices are used, sharing clear guidelines and encouraging good workplace habits across Rightmovers.
  • Support internal communications and help create a workplace that genuinely reflects Rightmove’s culture and values.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organised and engaging environment across all UK offices.
  • People Team Support
  • As capacity allows, contribute to activities supporting the broader People Team.
  • What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • Previous experience in a facilities coordination, office management, front‑of‑house, or operational support role.
  • A genuine can‑do attitude with the drive to match – no task feels too big or too small.
  • Sound working knowledge of workplace health and safety, fire regulations, and risk assessments.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Experience helping to run or coordinate events – logistics, catering, set‑up, and delivery on the day.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple suppliers, priorities, and deadlines without losing momentum.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of record‑keeping.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders – from senior leaders through to external providers.
  • Good administrative and financial processing capability.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset – you notice things others miss and act on them before you’re asked.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider team.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and internal systems.
  • An instinctive feel for culture – you appreciate how a physical environment brings a company’s values to life.
  • Why This Role Matters
