The Product Development team plays a pivotal role in delivering the overall consumer and customer digital experience underpinning the Rightmove business. We recognise that to deliver the best products and features for our customers and consumers we need to work together effectively as a healthy, high performing team. We work collaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, working towards Rightmove's strategy. Joining the Act team within the Lead to Keys domain, you’ll be a key part of transforming how a property is rented in the UK. The team manages partner and consumer flows from lead sending through to making an offer. You’ll work closely with other teams within the domain to create a seamless rental experience and help shape our commercial and strategic proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Product to shape the strategic direction, vision and objectives for Lead to Keys based on clear rationale, analysis and insights.
  • Maintain a backlog of improvements for your area, describing how they support business goals, and prioritise them with the Head of Product.
  • Manage ownership and monitoring of the products and functionality owned by the team through use of the objectives and KPIs you define.
  • Create and validate business cases that underpin the product/initiative, with clear definition of opportunity, costs and benefit.
  • Pro‑actively contribute to initiatives that aim to improve our customer or consumer experience, both identifying your own contribution and supporting others in theirs.
  • Initiate and/or undertake analysis to highlight any impacts to systems or business processes.
  • Take an active role in the experience discovery of initiatives and products, working closely with Product Designers and Researchers to define the approach.
  • Collaborate with user experience specialists and visual designers to re‑work existing experiences and create new ones.
  • Generate unique ideas, resourcefully identifying opportunities and encouraging innovation within the team.
  • Work with engineers and technical architects to understand technology limitations, recommendations and development options.
  • Accountable for requirements definition and delivery of solutions across your product or initiatives.
  • Can lead product discovery.
  • Has experience delivering successful end‑to‑end delivery of software products in a technology‑led company.
  • Maintains a strong commercial strategic approach to product management.
  • Takes responsibility for a product and delivers it with an autonomous delivery team.
  • Makes data‑driven decisions.
  • Is passionate about delivering quality software to end users.
  • Has excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Sets and measures clear, realistic and timely goals.
