HGV class 2 concrete mixer drivers required for busy ready mix concrete plants in Chesterfield, Derbyshire & Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Pay weekly, overtime after first 8 hours. Paid breaks, day rate, performance bonus paid monthly and wage paid weekly. Company pension scheme available. 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after time served.
Successful candidates can expect to work an average of 8-10 hours per day; this can fluctuate up or down depending on clients' requirements. We run a modern fleet of vehicles, all maintained by main dealer network. Generally, the company operates within a 40-mile radius of base.
A minimum of 1 year driving experience with HGV category 2 and current CPC is required. Ideally, we are seeking individuals who have had previous experience within this environment or have worked in the construction sector, but we welcome any applicants who feel they may adapt quickly to the job position. Local knowledge of the surrounding areas would be beneficial but not essential.
