About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on our construction site. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
  • Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and address any delays or issues.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure work meets design and specification requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, operatives, and inspectors.
  • Oversee site logistics, materials, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar construction management role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent certification preferred.
