Role Overview

As an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT), you will play a crucial role in the pharmacy team, responsible for verifying the accuracy of dispensed medications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accuracy Checking: Review and verify dispensed medications against prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Medication Management: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including prescription and over-the-counter products, while adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives, conducting checks and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to best practices in medication management.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information, prescription details, and accuracy checks performed, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations and medication dispensing procedures.
