Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Dispenser to join our ever growing team.
The ideal candidate will have certification as a pharmacy technician or dispenser, along with prior experience in a healthcare setting.
The role will be responsible for accurately dispensing pharmaceutical products and medical devices, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense pharmaceutical products and medical devices according to prescription orders, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Conduct thorough checks on dispensed products to verify accuracy, expiration dates, and proper labelling
Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders with inquiries related to dispensed products
Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, assisting with stock management, reordering, and expiration date checks
Maintain accurate records of dispensed products and related documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Follow safety and hygiene protocols for handling pharmaceutical products, including the proper disposal of expired or unused items
NVQ2 qualification as a pharmacy dispenser.
Prior experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare setting is an advantage
Understanding of pharmaceutical products, their uses, and relevant regulations
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and compliance with safety standards
Good organisational skills to manage inventory and maintain accurate records
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
