My client is a leading electrical contractor looking for an electrical tester to work on a new commercial office project.
Job Role:
- Test all electrical installations on a new office fitout project in Manchester.
- 6 - 8 month project.
- Pay rate is £26.00p/h / £27.00p/h CIS Payment.
- Working hours will be 45+ hours per week, Monday - Friday.
- 2391/2394 is required, ECS Gold Card and IPAF are required.
What the Job Involves:
- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspection of electrical components e.g. consumer units, lighting and socket circuits.
- Fault finding in domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
- Repair and replacement of wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Full or partial rewires in domestic and commercial properties.
- Working alongside other electricians and contractors in projects.
- Providing excellent customer service, whilst addressing any concerns or queries.
- Conducting EICR’s and relevant remedial work.
- Adhering to relevant building standards and BS7671.
