We are recruiting for an internal sales account manager for a role based in Oldbury, Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Sales & Inbox Management
- Be the first point of contact for incoming sales calls, answering customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and manage the central sales inbox, ensuring quick, accurate responses and quote generation for customers.
- Build strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers on the right solar technology for their projects.
- Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, acting as their dedicated internal point of contact.
- Build long-term relationships with solar installers and contractors to secure repeat business.
- Cross-sell and up-sell products (e.g., matching inverters and mounting kits to solar panel orders).
- Proactive Business Development & Prospecting
- Actively call through a "cold start list" of potential clients to introduce the company and win new business.
- Research the market to identify potential new customers, converting outbound calls into active buying accounts.
- Re-engage lapsed customers to bring them back into the purchasing cycle.
The Ideal Internal Sales Account Manager: Requirements & Qualifications
