Corporate Finance Assistant Manager / Manager
An opportunity has arisen to join a new and exciting, independent CF offering in the Scottish market. A spin-out of an existing brand, are currently setting up a completely new brand to offer a CF service that will fit the needs of the Scottish market. Our client seeks someone with drive, enthusiasm, ambition and commitment.
A partner-owned and partner-driven firm, the team members generally work directly for the partners and therefore have a lot more exposure to projects. There is the opportunity to lead projects from start to finish quite quickly. As a result, the team members have to be able to take responsibility for their own work and be proactive in driving projects forward.
The key focus is on client relationships, and are looking for someone who can work well with clients and provide this level of focus and build these relationships.
The firm provide a full suite of corporate finance services including:
Due diligence
Financial Due Diligence mainly for Private Equity and Corporate clients
Vendor Due Diligence
Vendor Assist
The role will involve:

Responsibility for engagement planning and management

Maintaining communication with the client / target to report on progress and keep information flowing

Preparation of databooks and relevant analysis

Drafting initial report or sections of a report for partner review
Lead advisory

Preparation of financial models

Preparation of information memorandum documents

Buyer / target research
-
Assisting with management presentations
-
Setting up and managing datarooms
-
Managing due diligence processes and related info requests
Team members have the opportunity to work across all of these disciplines and the on-the-job training is done by experienced partners, meaning that team members pick up the required skills very quickly and to a high level.
Candidate will be heavily involved in driving this brand forward, contributing to branding, marketing, social media and BD.
