Accountancy Practice Management Accountant in Bath, Somerset

Job Description Management Accountant Location: Bath (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent | Full Time Following continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. This is a varied role offering exposure across multiple legal entities, with plenty of opportunity to influence decision-making and improve financial processes. You'll work closely with both finance and operational teams, providing commercial insight while ensuring robust financial reporting. Reporting into senior finance, your responsibilities will include: Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions Overseeing intercompany accounting and reconciliations Preparing VAT returns and assisting with statutory accounts and year-end audit Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and processes We're looking for someone who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial mindset.
