Are you a commercially minded Credit Controller with experience managing complex arrears and preparing cases for legal escalation? At Right Now Residential, we’re looking for a Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of debt management across our residential portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you’ll manage complex cases, drive collections performance, and play a key role in protecting the financial health of the business. You’ll work closely with tenants, landlords, internal teams, and legal partners - ensuring arrears are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant and client accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances
  • Monitor arrears and take proactive action to minimise debt
  • Handle complex and escalated cases, including disputes
  • Negotiate repayment plans and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Prepare cases for legal escalation, including evidence and documentation
  • Liaise with solicitors and external partners where required
  • Track performance, report on arrears, and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years’ experience in credit control, ideally within property or real estate.
  • Proven experience managing complex arrears and preparing cases for litigation.
  • Strong understanding of tenancy agreements and the lettings process.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence handling difficult conversations.
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and a commercial mindset.
