Are you a commercially minded Credit Controller with experience managing complex arrears and preparing cases for legal escalation? At Right Now Residential, we’re looking for a Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of debt management across our residential portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you’ll manage complex cases, drive collections performance, and play a key role in protecting the financial health of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenant and client accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances
- Monitor arrears and take proactive action to minimise debt
- Handle complex and escalated cases, including disputes
- Negotiate repayment plans and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Prepare cases for legal escalation, including evidence and documentation
- Liaise with solicitors and external partners where required
- Track performance, report on arrears, and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- 4-6+ years’ experience in credit control, ideally within property or real estate.
- Proven experience managing complex arrears and preparing cases for litigation.
- Strong understanding of tenancy agreements and the lettings process.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence handling difficult conversations.
- High attention to detail, organisation, and a commercial mindset.
