Right Now Group are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our client\’s team. Our client are a medium sized Freight Forwarder based at Heathrow.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth handling of Export & Import consignments entering the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading cargo from vehicles using the clients forklift (Counterbalance & Reach)
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy against delivery notes
- conduct thorough inspections of received goods for damages, defects or discrepancies
- prepare goods ready for export by labelling and load onto vehicles by matching against Airway Bills.
- Load and unload freight onto aircraft pallets or containers, adhering to proper weight distribution and security measures.
- Building ULDs
Candidate Requirements:
- The client will need to carry out a full 5 year checkable work history and apply for a criminal record check for this role.
- Forklift Experience using Counterbalance and/or Reach – candidate will ideally have a valid licence but training can be given
- X-ray screening experience – preferred but if not, the client will train you in this field.
- Flexibility to work a variety of DAY shifts and work overtime as required.

Hours: 08:00 to 20:00
Salary: £30,000 depending on experience
