As an Air Export Coordinator, working for our Global Forwarder based at London Heathrow, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end export process of temperature-sensitive goods. Your goal is to ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and delivered on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and care.
Responsibilities:
- Organise air freight bookings with airlines and vendors, ensuring all shipments are properly scheduled and aligned with customer timelines.
- Prepare and verify all necessary export documents in compliance with international regulations and specific customer or destination country requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing shipment updates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Complete customs entries without support, ensuring to follow all regulations required.
Requirements:
- Proven background in air logistics, particularly with perishable or time‑critical shipments.
- Clear, professional communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients-both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with export documentation and compliance standards for perishable goods.
