Right Now Group are working closely with a growing Forwarder based in Colnbrook. The business is looking to bring on board a new Junior Operative to assist with Warehouse, Administration and Delivery of Freight. This person will be taught all aspects of what it takes to work within the Freight Forwarding industry, and be supported throughout through the teachings of seasoned professionals.
Salary: Up to £27,500
Location: Colnbrook
Shift: Mon-Fri (9am-5:30pm)
Responsibilities of a Junior Freight Operative:
Assist with booking in and out freight
Help prepare shipping labels and basic documentation
Support with checking and recording stock or cargo movements
Input data into warehouse and freight systems accurately
Learn to use scanners, tracking tools, and inventory software
Communicate with drivers, warehouse operatives, and office staff
Keep the workspace tidy and help with general admin tasks
Support other departments when needed (e.g., operations or customer service
