Warehouse Supervisor in Hounslow

Job Description

Right Now Group are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy client based in Hounslow. The purpose of this role is to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility, ensuring safe, accurate, efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, maintaining high standards of service, quality, health & safety, and developing the warehouse team to meet business targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the warehouse team in day to day warehouse operations.
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and competent within their role to ensure operational flexibility.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing products.
• Support in unloading deliveries and loading of shipments.
• Maintain stock using Warehouse Management System and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure efficient delivery of goods.
• Supervise and control order picking, goods in and dispatch, ensuring customer orders are met on time.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed in line with company procedures and requirements.

Desirable skills

• Previous Warehouse / Stores Management experience.
• Flexible approach to working depending on customer requirements.
• Previous experience in driving teams to hit targets and KPI\’s.
• Attention to detail.
• Current counterbalance forklift licence.

Shift

Monday to Friday (1 Sunday in every 3 paid as over time)

Hours

Week early: 09:00 to 17:30

Week late: 15:30 to 23:00

Salary

£38,000 per annum

Requirements

• Full 5 year checkable history.
• Clear DBS.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
