Right Now Group are currently partnered with an International Engineering client and industry leader who are recruiting for a Product Compliance Engineer to support their established product compliance team within testing, design, product approval and validation. Ideally you would have come from an Engineering background with a Mechanical or Electrical focus and have a genuine interest in delivering engineering compliance on a local and international scale.

Weekly Hours: Monday to Friday (hybrid)

Salary: 40k - 45k

Role Type: Full - Time Permanent

Location: Guildford

Responsibilities

  • Collating and maintaining regulatory conformity, certifications and approval documentations
  • Conducting internal lab testing to ensure design meets approval requirements
  • Assisting with agency approvals and reviews relating to the products of electrical systems
  • Assisting Compliance Manager in ensuring products meet worldwide agency approvals
  • Assisting the product management team and advising on approvals related matters
  • Assisting supply chain to ensure components meet the required regulatory approvals
  • Working with the laboratory and mechanical design teams to ensure products meet regulatory approvals

Desirable / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Product/Compliance or Testing.
  • Mechanical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of mechanics/engineering
  • An Engineering related Degree, A level, NVQ or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Have good problem-solving acumen
  • Good systems skills, ideally Excel related
