Right Now Group are currently partnered with an International Engineering client and industry leader who are recruiting for an Electronics Technician to support with testing, design, product approval and validation. Ideally, you would have come from a test or lab background within mechanics or electronics and have a genuine interest in product testing, compliance and regulations.
IMPORTANT: Full training will be provided and some travel will be required in order to visit the main production facility in the UK.
Role Description:
- Test equipment to support product testing and validation.
- Create and maintain test procedures, protocols, and work instructions.
- Execute laboratory testing for components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects through verification and validation activities.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret test data using appropriate statistical and engineering methods.
- Produce clear technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
- Support root cause investigations and failure analysis activities.
- Assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Design for Reliability (DfR) activities.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with health, safety, and laboratory procedures.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and testing methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

- Previous experience in a lab or testing environment.
- Electronics/Electrical or Mechanical experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving acumen.
- Good systems skills, ideally Excel related.
