Right Now Group are currently partnered with a leader who is recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Bath region after a continued period of sustained growth.

If you consider yourself to be suitable for a Field Service role with an Electrical Engineering focus and are open to travel, then this could be the ideal role for you. Full training will be provided!

Ideal Experience:

  1. Basic Electrical skills relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds – NVQ or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in working with commercial kitchen appliances.

IMPORTANT: Full training will be provided as well as a company van – please note all applicants must have a full driver’s license due to the nature of this role.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Weekly Hours: 8:00 – 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)

Salary: £28k-£32k

Role Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Bath

Job Details:

  • Investigate technical issues and resolve them while realizing opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer.
  • Install, maintain, and survey high-end appliances B2B.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Provide assistance for internal and external customers.
  • Manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role.
  • Meet service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs.

Desirable skills:

  • Basic Electrical experience, using multimeters and working with electrical circuits.
  • Electrical qualifications, NVQs or equivalent.
  • Previous Field Service or Engineer experience.
  • Experience as an Electrical Apprentice or equivalent.
  • Experience working out on the road from a van or car.
  • Good people/customer service skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and days.
  • Good problem-solving acumen.
  • Willingness to listen and learn.
