Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an Export Gateway Operator for our client based local to London Heathrow. This role reports to the Export Gateway Manager and supports the smooth running of daily operations within our dynamic and fast-paced Gateway department.

Location: Feltham

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 + shift allowance

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 17:00-01:00 or 18:00-02:00

Key Tasks:

  • Coordinate and communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners via email and phone to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Liaise with local and international Operations teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Oversee shipment processes, including consolidations and airline allocations, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Manage and take responsibility for shipment costing and related financial tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality data across all operational tasks.
  • Prepare and complete all documentation according to specific commodity and country requirements.
  • Process customs ensuring a strong attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Minimum of 2 years' Export Air experience.
  • Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Experience processing customs.
  • Ideally exposure to Cargowise or other freight management system.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
