We're looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding professional to join our growing team, specialising in exhibitions, hotels, trade shows and events logistics. This is a hands-on, office-based role where no two days are the same, working on time-critical and high-profile movements across the UK and internationally.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing freight movements for exhibitions, events and trade shows
- Coordinating air and ocean imports (with exposure to multimodal operations)
- Liaising with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents and suppliers
- Handling time-critical shipments with a strong focus on deadlines and accuracy
- Communicating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Supporting end-to-end shipments from origin through to final delivery
- Using freight forwarding systems (Cargowise experience advantageous but not essential)
What We're Looking For
- Around 3+ years' experience working in freight forwarding or logistics
- Solid foundation in air or ocean imports (multimodal training provided)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, time-critical environments
- Previous experience in AOG, events, entertainment or specialist logistics is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Must be able to commute reliably to the office and drive if required
