Right Now Group are working with a Medium-sized Cargo Handler in the Colnbrook area who are looking to expand their headcount in their Warehouse. They are looking to bring aboard a new Nights Forklift Operative to join the group. The ideal candidate will have had experience working within an Airfreight or Cargo warehouse.
Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator Operative:
- Complete all cargo screening documentation to a sufficient standard
- Complete general warehouse tasks including Loading/Unloading, Scanning freight, labelling freight and booking in.
- Follow all internal procedures relating to Health & Safety, Dangerous Goods, Temperature Controlled Goods
- Ensuring workspaces remain clean and tidy throughout
- Prioritising incident prevention (Health and safety)
Requirements for Warehouse Operative:
- Counterbalance Forklift Training
- Great Attention to detail
- Ability to handle freight up to 25kg
- 5 Year working history
- Clean DBS
- Clear understanding of health and safety standards in aviation warehouse environments.
