We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a busy air freight warehouse operation near Heathrow. This role suits someone confident on a forklift who is happy working in a fast-paced, time-critical cargo environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating counterbalance forklift to move air freight cargo safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading ULDs, pallets and loose freight
- Building and breaking down PMC pallets
- Putting freight away and picking cargo for export flights
- Scanning, labelling and allocating cargo accurately
- Assisting with manual handling when required
- Adhering to aviation security, health & safety and warehouse procedures
- Supporting warehouse and operations teams to meet flight cut-offs
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience (air freight experience highly desirable)
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
