Are you looking for an exciting opportunity within Freight and Logistics? This role may be for you! We are working with a global logistics solutions provider, who is looking for the next Customer Services talent to join their team! This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Colnbrook. Due to the location, you will ideally be a driver!
Hours are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch.
No previous experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity to start or develop a career as a Customer Services Representative within the freight and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Services Representative:- Communicating effectively internally with operations and other departments
- Tracking and tracing shipments from export through to delivery
- Providing shipment updates and Proof of Delivery
- Producing and issuing customer quotations
- Liaising with overseas offices and agents
- Arranging UK overnight, same-day, and overseas collections
- Monitoring shipment contents for compliance requirements
- Troubleshooting delivery and service issues
- Verifying and resolving address-related queries
- Completing collection notes and accurate data entry
- Supporting the Customer Services Manager with ad-hoc duties
- No experience required - full training provided
- Previous customer service experience desirable but not essential
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Positive and professional attitude
