Right Now Group are recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Heathrow! We are looking for a Cargo Receptionist to join our client due to massive growth and exciting new contracts secured. The role is working within a dynamic and fast paced office environment alongside the clients airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!
Location: TW6 - Hounslow
Hours: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of 4 ON 4 OFF (2 days, 2 Nights). This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format: days 06:30 - 18:30 / nights 18:30 - 06:30
Salary: £29,500 (Rising to £36.5k after 12 months)
Responsibilities:
- Create and update records of all consignments in the airline computer systems.
- Separate and distribute cargo documents according to airline requirements.
- Serve customers collecting cargo including taking payments of charges.
- Operate a telephone system in a polite and efficient manner.
- Liaise with warehouse staff and drivers as appropriate.
- Be responsible for checking dangerous goods to IATA and AVI checks.
Qualifications:
- Great communication skills via email, telephone and in person.
- Basic computer skills are essential as you will be operating and using a variety of systems.
- Previous office experience is essential.
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English is essential.
- Completion of pre-employment checks, including a 5 year checkable employment/education history and DBS check (criminal record check).
