Right Now Group are recruiting for an Import Clerk to join a leading freight forwarder based in Heathrow (LHR – Polar Park).
Key Responsibilities – Air Import Specialist
- Manage and complete import files to required company standards
- Monitor and action import-related emails in a timely manner
- Handle import entries and ensure regulatory compliance
- Issue import quotations and take bookings directly with customers
- Produce collection and delivery notes
- Liaise daily with customers, warehouses, and customs officials to ensure smooth operations
- Manage ERTS (Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) processes
- Check, calculate, and charge storage costs accurately
- Oversee charging and costing of import jobs
- Provide support, guidance, and training to colleagues on import processes
Key Requirements – Air Import Specialist
- Minimum 2-3 years\’ Air Import experience (essential)
- Ability to handle quotations, bookings, and full import processes independently
- Knowledge of Sequoia and NCTS systems desirable
- Break-bulk experience advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of mentoring others
What\’s On Offer – Air Import Specialist
- Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
- Shift: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 09:00 – 17:30
