Right Now Group are recruiting for an experienced 3.5T Security Driver on behalf of a specialist high-value freight forwarding business based in Feltham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a secure transport operation responsible for the safe transportation of high-value consignments across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring valuable shipments are delivered securely, professionally and on time, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and security. This role would suit an experienced Van Driver, 3.5T Driver, Secure Transport Driver, Delivery Driver or High-Value Goods Driver looking to join a well-established organisation within the logistics and secure transport sector.
Key Responsibilities of a 3.5T Security Driver
- Safely transport high-value consignments across the UK, ensuring all security procedures are followed.
- Load and unload vehicles safely whilst handling valuable goods with care.
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time collections and deliveries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service whilst representing the business professionally.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.
- Maintain communication with warehouse teams, dispatch and management whilst supporting site security, including ID checks where required.
Skills & Experience Required for a 3.5T Security Driver
- Minimum of 2 year's experience driving 3.5T vans.
- Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience transporting high-value or secure goods is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
- SIA Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
Security Requirements
- Due to the secure nature of this role, the successful candidate must be able to complete:
- 5-year checkable employment and education history.
- Additional security screening where required.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Location: Feltham
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
- Full training provided within a specialist high-value logistics operation.
- Excellent career progression with the opportunity for the successful candidate to be fully funded and trained to obtain their HGV licence.
